”What I love most about dentistry are patients that used to hide their smile, and because of us, can now smile with joy. When they get out of the chair, it is as if a weight has been lifted from them! It makes me feel so good!”

She is very thankful to have worked in pediatric dentistry with special needs children in her first dental job, it was an incredible experience. She is originally from Dallas, Texas but has taken quite a liking to Virginia… Jessica loves that there are hills here, and it isn’t 100 degrees in the summer. You will find her hiking at Great Falls or walking her beloved German Shepherd, Ace or fishing! Her Father instilled a love of fishing in Jessica, so, truly the outdoor gal. When not hiking, walking or fishing, you will find her nestled up with Ace and a Stephen King book.
What does she love most about Clarendon Dental Arts? How welcoming the staff and patients have been since day one!
Carolina began her career as a dental assistant in 2010. She has lived in Arlington since 1996, originally from Chile. She has two beautiful children that keep her very busy. She took a year off from dentistry to be closer to them, teaching at their Montessori school.
She loves the gym, especially Body Pump. Her positive attitude and demeanor is contagious. She believes wholeheartedly in the 90/10 principle Stephen Covey describes in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. “10% of life is made up of what happens to you, and 90% is decided by how you react. I believe in the power of positive thinking. Applying the 90/10 principle takes training and it’s not easy to change your mindset therefore I try my best to constantly remind myself, perspective is key!” This perspective keeps her beautiful smile shining every day!
