Introduction to Life-Long Dental Health

Your call is welcomed by our New Patient Coordinator who asks about your dental needs and provides a review of what you can expect on your first visit.
Before your visit, you will receive a packet of information and a series of unique questions to answer about your dental health history and needs so we can quickly provide you with the ultimate in care upon your arrival.

Overall Well Being Interview

Intake questions are asked about your current state of health in order for us to customize the most appropriate treatment and if needed, preferred relaxation method.
Your blood pressure and pulse is also taken, as dental health is a part of your overall well being.

Care Examination
Dr. Hollander and Dr. Fresch provide the most thorough dental examination you will ever experience, including an oral cancer exam, a throat, mouth and jaw exam, head and neck exam, panorex and digital x-rays and photos, and the most advanced methodology for determining the health of each tooth and its associated gum area to provide preventive care that will insure the health of your smile for a life time.

One-on-One Dental Health Consultation
Dr. Hollander or Dr. Fresch will then sit down with you and review the findings, all clearly printed out with pictures of each tooth, as well as the Panorex view of your entire mouth. This helps you clearly understand the casues of any problems and the most appropriate treatment available in order to provide you with the total dental care you deserve.

Dental Health Report Card
You will take away with you a detailed treatment plan that leaves no question in your mind as to the next step in achieving total dental health. Each report lists your dental health priorities, as you have communicated to us in the initial consultation, a detailed diagnosis, recommended treatment, and a proposed treatment plan with costs.

A ViziLite exam – a new medical technology - is part of our standard care in our practice. It offers patients a better chance to detect pre-cancerous tissue, which can minimize or eliminate potential disfiguring effects of oral cancer and possibly even save your life.
