Michelle’s Experience at AACD – Learning & Icing!
- Posted on: Jul 22 2015
Part 3 of our series of blog posts, comments from the team of Clarendon Dental Arts on what they learned at their annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry conference in San Francisco. Today we hear from long-term team member, Michelle Hungate – Patient Liaison.
We had a wonderful time in San Francisco at the AACD’s Annual Scientific Session!
I have attended many dental conferences over the years and this one really stands out as the one attended by the world’s leading clinicians in the field of comprehensive cosmetic dentistry. In addition to the introduction to the latest in cosmetic procedures, materials and methods, there was a lot of focus on sleep apnea and the need for screening in both adults and children. It was absolutely fascinating.
At the start of each day the general sessions have motivational speakers who uplift and promote introspection.
The icing on the cake was being able to spend quality time with our team, exploring the beautiful city, experiencing the wonderful cuisines and celebrating Jasmine’s birthday.
Best of all we come back pumped up and motivated to continuing to provide our patients with the optimum in dental health!
