Repairing Tooth Chips and fractures

Although the enamel of our teeth is the hardest, most mineralized tissue on the body, it too has limits. Many of us can be faced with a chipped or fractured tooth. These chips can occur due to a powerful blow to the face, or even biting on something hard. It is important to contact our office immediately, so to avoid possible infection or further damage the tooth. Dr. Fresch will assess your tooth and come up with the best plan to restore your broke, or fractured tooth.

Dental Veneers

Dental veneers, also known as porcelain veneers are wafer-thin, custom made shells designed covers the font surface of teeth to help improve the appearance. Dental veneers has the opportunity to help correct a number of dental problems that include the following:

  • Discoloration in the teeth
  • Worn down teeth
  • Chips and broken teeth
  • Misaligned, uneven, or irregular shaped teeth
  • Gaps

Dental Veneers Patient Testimonial
Kathy had bonded veneers on her two front teeth years ago that became discolored and chipped. Additionally, the width and sizes of these two teeth were different due to her original bite. Through orthodontics we moved her teeth with Invisalign for six months, did a minor laser procedure on her gums, and placed two new conservative (minimal preparation) veneers.

Fillings Replacement

Over the most recent years, many amalgam fillings are now replaced with the more common composite fillings or porcelain fillings. Amalgam fillings or metal fillings were found to cause more damage to teeth as they could often expand and cause cracks in the teeth. They were also aesthetically displeasing as they were not tooth colored, and were very noticeable. Dr. Fresch performs amalgam filling removal and places composite fillings to provide both greater protection of your tooth and an aesthetically more appealing filling.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a procedure that is able to restore stained teeth to their original white shade. Teeth Whitening agents enter the enamel of your teeth and helps to lift stains that cause displeasing tooth discoloration. Both in office, and our home trays are able to lift stains 3-8 shades darker than the natural tooth. Dr. Fresch will sit with you are discuss the best treatment plan to provide your desired results.
