It was crystal clear to Laurie, the moment when, as a dental assistant, she was first given the opportunity to present and explain a treatment plan to a patient, this was the career for her! That first interaction opened a window to how much it means to the patient when you take the time to answer their questions, explain the “whys” and show how much you truly care about their dental and overall health. She knew she was in a career that made a difference in people’s lives. Laurie is now a Dental Hygienist.
