Megan is our Arlington native! She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Mary Washington in 1991, and then, her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in 1995. She joined the Clarendon Dental Arts team in 2014.
Megan loves to expand her knowledge of dental hygiene and the relationship between oral health and whole-body health by attending continuing education courses – locally, nationwide, and online. She has a keen interest in the relationship between diabetes and oral health, as her daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2012, at the age of six.
When not practicing dental hygiene, Megan enjoys reading, baking, music, movies, and exploring Virginia by taking local road trips. She teaches English to kids in China online, and is a member of the Washington D.C. St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. Megan owns and operates a small custom logo apparel business, making t-shirts and other custom garments for schools and businesses
